Hey Southpaw! Awe, you know that's cool and very big of you to admit. I think a lot of people feel that way when they see a picture of someone like me. I think they see me and think 'wannabe', or 'fulffy pop queen', 'manufactured' or other not-so-nice things. I'm glad that you still listened with an open mind even after you saw the images. That's really cool and it makes your words and encouragement even more meaningful. I wish there were more people like u out there. I'm just being myself doing my thang the best I can and trying to get my music out there for people to hear. My life is dedicated to writing and singing the kind of music I love and grew up with and it is nice when people 'get' what I am trying to do like you did. I am so glad you enjoyed what I had to offer! I listened to a few of your tracks and want to wish you all the success in the world with your new project coming out in November. Keep at it and big up to ya! Peace, Nat

The lyrics and music and voice was great, yet I don't get if you're from your pics hot, why do you ask for the guy to like you in the songs?

I'm not sure which song you are talking about Neo. If you are talking about "Let The Candle Burn", you can actually go to this link to get the story behind the song: http://www.inmotionmanagement.com/natalie_brown/BTS_LTCB.htm

But to address the general question... even if someone is attractive, it is sometimes hard to get someone to love you or appreciate you for who you really are inside and not just the outer shell you were born with. Love and relationships are not easy just because someone is deemed "good looking". In fact, sometimes it is harder. And to be very blunt with you, I have never felt "hot" or "good looking" in my life. In fact, this industry and this society is brutal when it comes to looks and if anything, a lot of us women suffer from low self esteem and thinking we are not attractive. I know I have battled this all my life. I know it's hard for some to believe, but a lot of women you think are hot probably think they are not beautiful or even pretty.

Good site, many women do have low self-confidence, but they regain it by bashing every guy they see that likes them in my hs. Some do have it, some don't. The industry is so insane about making you perfect, it's nauseating. You don't need to look perfect though.

The hairstyle that you have in that little pic next to your name makes you look good, so I don't know where the thinking you're not good looking comes from.

Maybe I just have to see it from a neighborhood that has not all sluts that make the guys annoyed, I don't even bother with those hos anymore.

Thanks for the reply though.
